KYC Solution is responsible for the technical solutions used in our service to the clients and the end customers. Technology is key for us to provide a cost effective and compliant solution and is therefore highly prioritized. We are using the latest technologies and ways of working where we are organized in cross functional teams, using a hybrid cloud architecture.
We are now looking at hiring a Solution Architect to join our team.
The role
The Solution Architect plays an important role in securing the success of Invidem’s product by engaging, maturing, and building our technical solution to ensure delivery, quality, and performance.
As a Solution Architect you will be responsible for the technical roadmap and the architectural delivery of the backlog within your technology area. The role offers a great opportunity to have a big impact on everything from system architecture to creative processes and you will have a crucial voice in technical choices.
The role is working on a forward-looking horizon, actively participating in the planning and high-level design of the solution backlog and roadmap as well as exploration of solution alternatives and securing that we follow the overall architectural and product roadmap.
Together with Product Owner, Requirement’s specialists, Service designer and stakeholders you analyse, slice, and prioritize the implementation of work. This includes for e.g., leading solution conceptualisation efforts like proof of concepts and solution designs. To support you in the work you have the Lead Developers in the development teams, Solution Architects within other technology areas and the Chief Architect.
The work will be performed from Invidem’s head office in Stockholm, the position is full-time and reports to the Head of Engineering.
Main responsibilities
The Solution Architect will facilitate, participate in, and support solution activities aligned within the following areas:
- Architectural and technology roadmap
- Holistic perspective of the solution which is in line with the organisation roadmap and vision
- Develop, mature, and communicate the technical roadmap within the tech area
- Be aware of upcoming trends in technology and their potential business benefit
- Lead pre-studies, solution designs, design hypothesis and proof of concepts
- Alignment with design, security, operations, and stakeholders
- Support the Epic and Feature creation and slicing
- Identify and create tasks for the architectural implementation activities, technical debt, and refactoring
- Ensure technology architecture designs and patterns account for non-functional requirements such as reliability, scalability, performance, and resilience
- Planning sessions, grooming and architectural related forums
- Support in resource and competence planning
- Manage and escalate risks
- Coach development teams within the technology
- Hands on development if needed
- Contribute to building an engineering culture

Required skills/experiences
- Possess drive, curiosity, a wish for knowledge sharing and jumping at the opportunity to dive into new technology
- People management skills such as coaching, communication and relationship building skills
- Solution Architecture knowledge and skills to create and drive technical design, backlog, and roadmap
- Senior development experience from modern web development working with Angular (or similar) and Micro Frontends
- …or senior development experience within preferably .NET Core/C#
- Experience and knowledge within Azure cloud service architectures, API Management and Micro Services
- Implemented systems within different integration contexts
- Solid experience of working in an agile development environment
