Founded by six leading banks in the Nordics, Invidem’s KYC service is nonetheless accessible to all Nordic businesses requiring generic and compliant KYC information. Invidem is happy to announce its seventh – and first non-owner – client. Swedish fund management company Indecap Fonder will start using the service in April 2022.
Invidem was founded in 2019 by six leading banks in the Nordics – Danske Bank, DNB, Handelsbanken, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank – as a joint venture for the common good. The company utilises technology to create an efficient and effortless KYC process while at the same time advancing modern financial crime prevention.
Invidem collects, validates and verifies generic KYC information for corporate customers and provides this information to entities under AML regulations. The service, launched in September 2021, uses a Nordic standard for the gathering and quality assurance of the information. Invidem has now received it seventh – and first non-owner – client.
“Compliance is – or at least should be – a top priority for all companies in our business. Choosing Invidem’s KYC service, we not only succeed in meeting regulatory requirements but also raise the bar to a new business standard. In addition, we hope to provide our customers with an improved customer experience”, says Johan Svedin, CEO of Indecap Fonder.
”We are very happy to welcome Indecap Fonder on the important journey towards a brighter KYC future. Looking at Indecap Fonder, I see a fast-moving company that shares our mission to prevent financial crimes. I feel confident in our capability to meet the company’s expectations,” states Marit Bø Bornstein, CEO of Invidem.
